The Children's Programming Committee creates and maintains programs for children of Memorial UCC, which will nurture faith formation. The work of the Committee is to provide programming, which will cultivate relationship with God through Christ, with relationships with other people and encourage their participation in the life and ministry of our church.

What we do.

1. Create a safe nurturing environment at Memorial UCC for children.
2. Provide nursery care for young children during events at the church.
3. Plan, resource, staff, evaluate and maintain church school for children -- preschool
   to Confirmation -- during the school year.
4. Plan, resource, staff, evaluate and maintain summer programs
5. Recruit, select, train appropriate volunteer and paid staff to maintain programs
6. Encourage mission opportunities for children.
7. Communicate with families of children.
8. Be an advocate for children in the life of Memorial church.
9. Continually reevaluate and modify programming.
